Win Seek stops / crashes playback
#1
I installed 10.1 from the site and experienced no problems with seeking.

I then installed 11.0 RC2 and if I try to seek (left arrow, right arrow, or mouse)

Playback stops. I can convince it to keep playing by pressing space twice (pause, unpause) but then all sound is gone.

Log shows this as soon as I try to seek:
03:58:26 T:22324 ERROR: CThread:ConfusedtaticThread : Access violation at 0x017476a1: Reading location 0x00000008
03:58:26 T:22324 NOTICE: thread end: CDVDPlayerAudio::OnExit()

And for some specs:

There have been lots of reports of this in RC2, but so far we haven't been able to work out what is causing it.

Oddly enough, after posting I wanted to check if a specific format was doing it...

So I tested some more mp4 x264+aac .. crashing happened. Then tested xvid avi, no problems. Tested mp4 again and didn't fail this time.

Hasn't shown a problem since.
