I have the recently added videos on the home screen and sometimes the video does not play. The videos play fine if I go to the TV or Movie library. Anyone know why this happens?

What skin are you using?
Can you post a log-file when this happens?

Enable debug logging from System settings, System, Debugging, and restart XBMC then wait a minute or two for all the startup tasks to finish. Now try to play a video from Recently added, and when it fails close XBMC.

Open the debug log by pressing Windows-R and in the Run dialog type:

"%appdata%\xbmc\xbmc.log"

(including the quotes). Click OK and the log should open in Notepad. Copy and paste the log into http://pastebin.com/ and post the link it gives you here.

The shows that failed are The River s01e08 and Two and a Half Men s09e19. The play fine if I go to the library.

It's because of the comma's in the paths. This has been fixed already by the skinners afaik, so will be all good in Eden Final (just around the corner...)
