Not sure if this is the correct place for this thread but my problem is with an ATV1!

I just installed a Broadcom Crystal HD (BCM970015) into my ATV1. I am running Crystalbuntu from a USB stick with the latest stable version of xbmc. Playback of 1080p mkv files work smoothly most of the time.

I seem to be having a problem playing back a .wmv file. The audio plays, the video menu does not go away and the screen is blank. Is there something in my video or system settings that could change this?

Also, I noticed that the Broadcom Crystal HD-BCM970015 doesn't show up anywhere;
System>Info>Video or Hardware
System>Settings>Video>Playback:Render method

Is that normal? How do I know for sure that ATV is using it? (Other than the obvious that 1080p mkv files playback smoothly now.)

Here's what I found on the XBMC Features and Support Page

Supported file/container formats:
Microsoft ASF/ASX/WMV/WMA containers

Supported video codecs:
Microsoft's Windows Media Video v7, v8 and v9 (MSMpeg4/WMV v1, v2, and v3)

I don't see anything specific about ATV1 though so you may be right?
