Win No DXVA2 option in Eden...

DXVA2 option gone in Eden (RC2)
So I cannot enable Enable Hardware Accelerated Decoding

Can you advice how to make it avaiable ?
I have ATI Radeon HD 4250, collegue of mine has same problem with Nvidia ION

This option was avaiable on Drahma...

Go to: Settings... Video... Playback

I was saying that this option is no longer in my Eden installation

EDIT
Heard that this option is not avaiable on Windws XP, but only Windows 7 ??

Yes, Win XP doesn't support the DXVA2 interface that XBMC uses for the hardware acceleration.

I was almost sure I saw it on Drahma installaiton on XP - might it be that this not applies to Eden only ?

Afraid not, Windows XP has never supported DXVA2 and even when Dharma was released they mentioned that DXVA2 support was for Vista+ only (if you see the new's post at http://xbmc.org/theuni/2010/12/18/xbmc-10-0/ you'll see they say Vista and 7 only)

Actually,XP supports DXVA2 for VC-1 and MPEG2,but better to use 7 gigi

You can't unless you build your own XBMC and make some changes in the code.
Always read the Kodi online-manual, the FAQ and search the forum before posting.
