my apple remote for atv2 has stopped working

i recently upgraded my jailbroken apple tv2 to eden v11.0 from eden beta 3
upgraded a few other software updates as well.
after rebooting my atv2 the silver remote will not control the atv2 at all.
i can see it receiving the command on the black box but no response.

any help appreciated.

i've also no backup before this happened

so any help out there?
i've tried holding the menu button and the down arrow but it doesn't blink fast and reboot

You've probably unpaired your remote. Check the below link:

i've also download xbmc android remote as well just in case.

you would think that apple would let people know after a software update that the remote may need to be paired again.jeez!
