I noticed about a week ago that I'm not able to log into the YouTube plugin.

I use 2-factor authentication on my Google account. When I attempt to log in from XBMC, I'm prompted to enter my password and authentication code, as expected, but then I'm handed a "Script error: plugin.video.youtube" message. Any thoughts?

You could try generating an application specific password and using that, thus bypassing the 2 factor authentication for the plugin.

Why not just create an application specific password?

How/when do you create the password?
I don't get prompted for password. Just script failure.
