Hi

Does anyone know how I go about creating Stub Files?

I've seen on wiki (http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Add...edia_stubs) that a play around with advancesettings.xml is required. I was just wondering if there is another way to achieve them without going this route.

Any help would be appreciated.

No messing with advancedsettings.xml is needed (unless you want to change the stub file extension).

I worked it out. Didn't realise it was that simple

I've got 2 drives in my setup and it defaults to the dvd one. Is their a way I can default it to the Blu ray one at all?

I think by default it just grabs the first drive it finds - you could try changing the drive letters around and see if that works (i know its not ideal).

There is a trac ticket from 4 years ago that covers this scenario, but i don't know if anything has changed since then.....

Just as I started to read your reply it occurred to me to change the drive letters lol.

I'll give that a go.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but is this skin or device specific?

I have tried this in Metropolis skin and the confluence skin on ATV2 and these dialogs do not appear.
Scans fine and in library, but no dialog..
