SetNextAvTransportURI support

I was wondering if there is a plan to support SetNextAvTransportURI function in DLNA playback?

I am using XBMC as a DLNA renderer (with J River Media Centre as a Controller) and this would, IMO, significantly improve the playback performance. At the moment, there are 2-3 sec gaps between tracks, which are annoying in themselves, not to mention during playback of track that flow into each other.

I think XBMC is great, and I use it daily. That said, improved DLNA rendering in general would be fantastic!
