Audio lag on every movie
#1
I have tried to search for a similar issue but couldn't find anything.

ATV2 connected with HDMI cable, fw 4.4.4, xbmc 11.0 rc2

I am playing my video files from SMB source, everything connected through LAN cables.

Every movies I try to play has an audio lag of about 10 seconds (tried mkv, xvid with both mp3, ac3, and DTS): video starts fine, and then audio starts after almost 10 second, staying out of sync for whole movie duration, meaning that this way it's useless to start watching anything.

Do you have any idea what could I check in my settings?

Call up the OSD during a movie and in your Audio Settings, check your Audio Offset value - you may have changed this. Set it as the Default for all movies once you put it back to 0 seconds.

or post a xbmc.log so that we can have a look in your advancedsettings.xml where might be a setting aswell which can introduce 10secs delay ...

I have actually solved updating to final release.
It probably was a problem related to installation since I had errors through nitoTV and had to use SSH tunnel to install.
