ive been trying to make xbmc as simple as possible. so when i mod someones xbox its all they need and its easy to use. ive been trying to find a way to hide the settings menu. i tried making it an invisible button but its still a good chance they will click on it. so i thought is there anyway to map a button combo to the settings menu like you have to hold down both thumbstick or white and black. or something like that.

no there is not (not without modifying the source code at any rate).

you can completely remove a button ofcourse, or make a series of invisible buttons (most of which don't do anything) so that you need several moves to get to the correct invisible button.
