I'm using the latest nightly builds on Win 7 and I've noticed that when I update my library the "Latest Episodes" widget doesn't show a thumbnail for the last scanned episode. The thumbnail itself is downloaded (or generated, I'm not sure) correctly and can bee seen in other views. To see the thumbnail in "Latest Episodes" I need to exit XBMC and load it again. The bug occurs consistently in the latest nightly builds.
Can this be fixed somehow?

It seems that the bug is global and not skin-specific. "Latest Episodes" widgets in other skins like AEON-Nox-SVN have it too.

Just want to add my 2 cents.

i'm running nightlies on atv2.

The problems seems to be that when you add a new tv episode which doesn't have a thetvdb scraper entry yet, it doesn't display anything. once you update the episode (once added to the scraper) it works fine.

For me I don't mind having a missing picture, but (at least on the atv2) there is no select box displayed on the episode so if you have 2 or 3 very new episodes on "latest episodes" you have no clue which one you selected.

Don't want to abuse this thread, but it seemed similar.

Let me know if there is a trac ticket already, and if not, I'll create one.

Yes, I've also noticed that. Specifically, if an episode is missing a screenshot on thetvdb.com. For some reason an auto-generated screenshot is not picked by last episodes widget. I've found this (or a similar) bug #9797 in the tracker, but it seems to be considered low-priority. So I've just turned off last episodes widget.

Nothing has changed. And it seems that the bug is not connected with downloaded vs. auto-generated thumbs because Lost Season 1 surely has all thumbs on thetvdb.
Maybe it has something to do with image caching which is quite buggy.
I have also noticed the bug with fanart which is IMO similar by nature that has also been reported (#7905) but then marked as in-valid for unknown reason and nobody seem to bother.

I see this bug also for TV Shows, with the Eden release on linux. The thumbnails appear after restarting XBMC. Sometimes it's not just the single thumbnail that's missing, it's all four. Right now I'm looking at mine and all four thumbnails are missing on the widget, but when I open the Recently Added list and select the show the thumbnails appear there, so I know the thumbnails exist and just aren't being shown on the widget.

I notice this often in the evenings, when mythicalLibrarian adds mythTV recordings to my library the new episodes appear on the widget without the thumbnails, and the selection highlighting doesn't appear on them either so it's guesswork which one is selected.

I'm noticing this as well, I just haven't taken time yet to sift through the debug log. For me if I go into any other screen (i.e. the TV shows or even music screen) and then go back to home the thumbnail loads. Reminds me of Dharma when you had to exit and re-enter the home screen to get the updates to load at all.
