Is 3.3.0 for Eden only? Since it comes from the Eden repository. If so which version must i have for XBMC Dharma, cause i can't upgrade to Eden just yet cause, of my Open Elec Box.

Why don't you upgrade to the new beta "Eden" version of OpenELEC?
I can try but i am a bit hesitant to do so, cause my XBMC installations are networked and read/write all their information to one single mysql database.

Was waiting for the final release of Open-Elec Eden so i had to upgrade only once.

Will look into the upgrade procedure for Eden.

thx

There seems to be something wrong with the parser for undertexter.se site. I do not get any results for HD movies. For example a search for "wrath of the titans" on the web site results in 9 hits but only the 4 first (SD) is shown in the xbmc gui. The subtitels that is not shown contains an icon indicating that it's a HD movie, this is probably the html that the parser does not handle.

Compare with the website:http://www.undertexter.se/?group1=on&p=s...the+Titans

Otherwise, awesome plugin!

(Originally posted in a separate thread, but moved here because this apparently is the place to ask these questions.)
First off, wonderful, fantastic, excellent Add-On, well done!!!

Usually getting subs in English is no problem, but when my Russian family comes to visit, I find that many of the russian subtitles get downloaded as garbage-gobbldigook... and I have to open the file in MS Word choosing Cyrilic then copy that text and paste to the subtitle file and save as unicode... which works ok, but is a work around.

Is it possible to add the ability for this Add-On to see this text as cyrillic unicode so it appears correctly? That would be great.

Cheers,

Mark.
Hello! Thanks for this script. I use it heavily!

Since 4-5 days, I can't download subtitles. It stays on "Downloading subtitles...." forever, but it doesn't hang. Tested on 2 different computer, and I get the same behaviour. The other computer is running W7 (while this one runs Vista), both 32bits.

Here's the log file : http://pastebin.com/p273USAP

It was running fine the week before.

Thanks!

edit - It seems to work on my Linux computer.
Hi, has there been any updates to this?? I still have this problem.. subtitles are not working and it says "downloaded and extracted"... I wonder if there is going to be an update soon??

Amet.. thank you for your quick response.. I didn't mean to sound "demanding" for an update I just wanted to know if there was one already. Smile

Anyway, Could you point me out to a work around? I have tried to find a solution and haven't been able to find one. How can I go around this?

Thank you

Have you told us what the issue is? Debug Log?

Sorry about that...

Here is the debug log..
Thanks for your help.
try removing any files in "/storage/.xbmc/userdata/addon_data/script.xbmc.subtitles/temp" and see if that helps

other thing might be to try a different subtitle that doesn't contain non ascii character as that is what the issue is, and that is the thing we are trying to work out
Ok.. thank you, will try it and update you on this...
I noticed that subscene.com is no longer working, I cannot get any subtitle from there.

Here in my log, I tried Subscene, and I got nothing, then tried OpenSubtitles and it was working, then Podnapisi and it found the subtitle but it failed to download and it gave me an error in extracting the file.

I hope this can be fixed soon, as I totally depend on subscene for my subtitles.

thanks.
