@Kazzamozz
I assume me-tv is another backend? then someone needs to write an add-on for it that interfaces with it.
My tvheadend will contain some patches that are not in the standard repos.

Hi I'm New here

will there be a mediaportal PVR client (tsreader) plugin in this build Huh?

Is there a way in windows to update the PVR build to the nightly build of xbmc and still get the PVR options ?? and how to do it ?

I have a win 7 system

Best regards

Is there already an precompiled XBMC 12.0-ALPHA3 PVR build?
Or an earlier version from XBMC 12.0?
At the moment I can only find 11.0 builds, 12.0 has better Blu-Ray support.
For Windows 7 X64.

@duncanvdlinden:
I've just added an initial 12.0 alpha-3 + PVR build to my website. Consider it to be an unstable preview. For stable builds, please use the Eden-pvr builds.
I recommend you to install this build next to Eden for testing purposes only. The AudioEngine part is still under development and you may encounter audio related problems.
The PVR part between the pre-Frodo (12.x) and Eden-pvr builds is 99% identical.

Yes, you might need to refresh this page:

Note that this is a Windows build. I'm not providing Linux PVR builds.

Hmm, slightly confused. Is the margro XBMC v11.0 Eden PVR v2 the same as the Pulse-Eight PVR 11.5?

no, it's a different build.

my builds are using the tree that's linked in my sig, with the latest CEC related changes. it's based on the latest stable release, Eden

the builds that margro linked are based on the latest development tree, and is possibly unstable because of audioengine changes that aren't finished/stable yet.

So then if the priority is on PVR (not CEC) and functionality with FTR, which would be the more appropriate choice?

Thank you

The ForTheRecord addon is included in my builds and if you want to use the addon together with de PulseEight build, you have to download it separately.
See post #76.
The main difference between my Eden builds and the PulseEight builds is the CEC functionality (more up to date in the P8 builds) and preliminary support for timeshifting including FF, Rew (my build, FTR, MePo only).

I see tvheadend is there now. Thanks.

Thank you both for your replies. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the current state of things.
So to get the fullest front-end PVR experience, I should go with the P8 11.5+PVR+CEC build and then add margro's FTR addon, correct?

Hi,
I'm on Ubuntu server precise. I'm trying to install the latest xbmc xbmc-bin and xbmc-live packages. First two install fine. But it does not have a xbmc-live package with the same revision in the repo. This way I cannot install xbmc-live and i'm not able to start xbmc anymore.

Can anyone help me in solving this?

Code:
root@XBMC-LIVE:/root# apt-get install xbmc-live

Hello,
I'm building my XBMC PVR using dushmaniac's official PVR repo, and I have a couple of issues:
1) XBMC crashing after pause.
This seems to have been recently fixed according to this: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1132935

2) Video calibration settings are lost every time. This also seem to have been fixed:
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1134620

Are these fixes already in the 29/6 repo update? If they are, why I'm still having problems?
Thanks.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but could you re-add my IPTV radio patch to your tvheadend build until it is accepted into master as it is quite usable for IPTV users. We can't play IPTV radio otherwise.

Hello,

I've installed Mythbuntu 12:04 with xbmc 11.0 pvr, from //github.com/Pulse-Eight/xbmc.git and tvheadend. By adding
channel to favourites starts a manual recording. Can you help my.
Best Regards, Juergen
