I'm going to be building a HTPC to do a few things:
1) Bitstream HDAudio Sources (TrueHD,DTS-MA)
2) 1080p Movies/TV Shows
3) Control all this from my Logitech Harmony + whatever IR Adapter
4) Play my MP3 Library
5) Look at Picture Library
6) Play Spotify (If Possible)
Thats it.
I want to do XBMC Live As I rather run something linux based, as well as prefer the Set-Top-Box feel and faster boot times/less resources used etc...
However from my readings on the forums it seems I can't run XBMC Live if I want to bitstream HD Audio, does this still hold true or has this been developed?
What hardware do I need to do so on linux (Video/Audio Card/Processor)? I'll figure out the rest of the compnenents once I know what is required to have HD Audio on Live.
