contex menu and MCE / Harmony Remote
#1
Hi all,

how to set up my Harmony Remote to simulate the 'Windows' Application key?
I mean to get context menu to define eg. folder content.
Currently it is acting as an MCE Remote (actually the MCE Extender) but I can not define any button to be the Windows' Application key - there is no such option to choose.

cheers

The Harmony must be configured as "MicrosoftWindows Mediacenter. The Button you are looking for is called Guide.

I set up my Harmony as Microsoft Windows Mediacenter but the Button called Guide doesn't work...
To make it running should I set up something, any config file etc?

I set mine up as the MCE Keyboard. This gives you more options to assign to the remote without losing any functionality. Then I mapped "C" to the button I wanted to bring up the context menu.

Check your LIRC Configuration and your remote.xml file.

This is my remote.xml working with my Harmony One configured as MicrosoftWindows Mediacenter.
