how do we do that?

last question why avoid sandforce ssd? (i see on google some problem with blue screen but fixed with firmware now) i suppose they all have firmware for linux

well if u feel safe with the firmware update lol

i know some SSD's still have BSOD even with the upgrade.

so why not just avoid any potential issue here?

yes you're right for the ssd but just wondering if the reason was for something else then that (compatibility with linux, longevity...)
