In the weather gui some translation error available to german language.
Overcast -> Bewölkt
Chance of Regen -> Teilweise Regen

.Is this a translation error in a string.xml file or is this delivered by the api?

It is a known problem. I already reported it before Eden, but it was too late to change the weather token strings.
See discussion here: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/575 The problem will probably be solved by itself if Ronie can get use of the Localization feature of the new Wunderground API.
