I have Eden running on an ATV 2 with iOS 4.3. My wife is interested in utilizing Airplay mirroring from her iPhone 4S. On the wiki, it recommended running XBMC on iOS 4.3 or earlier. So is it worth upgrading for the mirroring? Does XBMC experience issues with 4.4? I don't want to risk it and have to try to downgrade to 4.3.

iOS after 4.3 started using more resources which left less for XBMC. It has caused issues for some, so I would be hesitant to risk it.

Maybe if you're only running h.264 sd content with no subtitles, basic skin, etc., etc

Thanks for the input. I basically do use XBMC for music and h.264 content, but I still probably won't risk it. Maybe if the mirroring was for me instead of my wife...
