AppleTV 2 (black) iOS 5.1 & XBMC

1st update. I think i've found a solution for getting XBMC to work again on atv2 running iOS 5.1. Have to wait for davilla to talk about it and how to proceed.

Code changes for ATV2/iOS5.1 went into our mainline. We now will have to discuss on how to push this to the cydia - based on the Eden code. So basically there will be a eden build with iOS5.1 support in cydia - at least thats the goal.

So here we go. We decided to give you this Eden build here in the forum. We do an update for cydia when 11.1 is released for all platforms. Beside that the nightlys (once they start again) will be compatible with iOS5.1 too.

Edit: I got it working. It said it had dependencies on nitoTV. Installed that. Works fine now.

i tried to install xbmc via post #13 and ran code downloaded and installed. Now my atv just runs xbmc off center so you can see the bottom of the xbmc home screen at the top of the tv.. no access to any menu that I can read. It is responsive to the remote just can't see what it is saying.. Any ideas?
P.S. Thanks for your stellar support XBMC dev's. amazed at how quickly you guys work and needles to say how sweet it is once you have got it working Wink

does anyone know what this means? this is a fresh install of 5.1 with nito tv. thanks

After trying another tv then back to the original it has now changed to sideways... So confluence runs up and down and has large bars on the sides of the screen
I have and led lcd 1080 120 hz. and an 1080i crt. I then switched back to the other tv with hdmi input which i have ran xbmc from for years. and it was sideways then i reboot and it was up in the left top corner again.. [Image: 5]

Sorry if the second pictue isn't very clear. you can see the rss feed and the bottom of the xbmc logo. I hope you can see what im talking about. I have no idea what to do with all of this. Thanks again for the hard work and the fast response.
