How can you access subtitles' button?

When you're watching a video, if you click
- "info": the context menu on the bottom appears
- and then "select": the buttons "previous item, rewind, pause, stop" appear on the bottom, and on the right of them a couple of other buttons, including the subtitles button


The pre-selected button is "pause/play". My question is: how can you navigate to the right to go to the subtitle button (or any other, for that matter)? Pressing the left/right buttons on the remote seems to advance in the playlist instead of changing which button is selected.

Am I missing something?
