4 wire USB touch screen

I am thinking about building a mini atx computer and booting straight to xbmc as I am planning on using it in my car with the oem display. I also have a 4 wire USB touch screen membrane that I was going to overlay on the oem screen. My question is would the touch screen work with xbmc? And would I be able to install drivers for it if I am booting straight to xbmc as the drivers are os specific and it has to be calibrated?

Need more information. What kind of usb touch membrane? Does it use wmTouch? Are you planning to run Windows and launch directly into XBMC or use xbmc live?

The touch membrane runs off touch kit ( http://www.touchkit.com/4_wire_touch_screen.htm )
And I was hoping to boot straight to xbmc live as this is for a vehicle and windows takes forever to boot.
