Hey guys, long time admirer, first time poster. I've been trying to search for posts regarding the Intel i3 530 (2.93GHz) and wondering what I can expect in terms of performance for an HTPC if I pair up with onboard graphics? Here is the exact build on craigslist I'm looking to purchase from @ $300.
I'm just expecting a bare essentials htpc that plays back 1080p mkv's using h.264 conversion with a nice skin (Aeon M2 too much to ask?). Should I just look at the AppleTV2 instead (storage isn't that big a deal to me cuz i'll be using my computer's SMB for media library/playback)?

I got a i3 560 and it runs everything with onboard video no hiches so i think a 530 will do the job just fine
