I want to install XBMC onto a USB stick and run it persistently from there.
I have booted from a 2GB stick and I want to install onto another 8GB stick I have in my PC.
Unfortunately for a non Linux user this is not user friendly.
I got an option to install over my Windows installation on my HDD or "something else".
When I select the something else partition I get a dialog asking me if I want to unmount the partitions in use. I know next to nothing about Linux so unfortunately none of what I am reading makes any sense to me.
I have no idea what to do with swap space, file systems or partition tables. Is there any sort of "install it here and do whatever you need to do" option?
