[Plan] - To build a decent HTPC running XBMC that would be future-proofed. Picking my case probably took me the most time to decide one, but I ended up choosing the sleek design of the Silverstone GD06. Its not too big and offers the right amount of HDD space I was looking for at a minimal size. I went with the 64gb SSD for my primary HDD for faster start up. Then decided on WD Red 2TB drives since I plan on having the HTPC run fairly often and they run 24/7 with no problems. I went with the high end Asus motherboard for its promising reviews and features. Everything from an over the top on-board graphics, audio possibilities, and the amazing hybrid CPU air/water cooling feature. I went with a more than reasonable i5 processor and a cool $60 CPU cooler to accompany it.

- Any feedback, questions, or suggestions?
- Which aspects of my build were over-kill, unnecessary, or things you would have changed and why?
