How do i remove XBMC from 5.1?

Hello
I was wondering if you can help me with something.
I have SSH XBMC in the new jailbreak and it is very glitchy. So i want to remove it and wait for the one that will come out soon, so i can install it from Maintenance.
How do i remove it?

In cydia, manage, packages, click on xbmc, press modify then remove.

I'm not sure if you are referring to the Apple TV or not, but if you are, SSH in and execute:

apt-get remove org.xbmc.xbmc-atv2

also might want to run this to get rid of preferences and databases, if you truely want it gone:

rm -Rf /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC

Having said all that, I'm not sure exactly what you're waiting for in terms of an XBMC update.

Curious ... but can't you just reload the OS using iTunes and it will wipe the ATV clean and reinstall 5.1?

That is the "bigger hammer" approach and works like a charm. Cool

You will need to re-jailbreak if that is still required.
