I've just installed XBMCbuntu and it is working beautifully. I have an ADESSO MCE REMOTE that I have connected to the box and it pretty much worked out of the box. That said there is no button mapped for the context menu or a power/standby button.
I would like to configure the remote and am seriously confused with all of the guides. There are Eventghost guides and LIRC but I'm not sure which one to use.
I am running Mint Linux (ubuntu based) on my desktops. I'm thinking that I want to use LIRC, but am really confused.
Can someone point me to the correct guide please?
