Help editing skin

I'm a web designer by day so go easy on me!

I'm trying to change a few of the icons in confluence, and have edited the image files but they're not changing. I'm wondering what else I have to change in order to make the icons change in the skin. I'm also wondering if it is a cache problem?

If anyone could help me on this, I'd be most grateful.

It's probably because you're using the version installed with XBMC which uses a Textures.xbt. You need to get the textures from the repo and then delete the Textures.xbt to stop it being loaded.
