Awesome Beer thanks for the video! I can't wait till my case comes so I can get mine built. I got everything else just sitting here staring at me.
Not gonna lie, mine is pretty much going to be identical to yours thanks to you making me do a last minute switch to this case. I'm not sure I'm a fan of the windows logon sound though, that's gonna have to go away for me, either nothing or maybe something like the THX sound.

HTPC 1 - AMD A8-3870K, ASRock A75M, Silverstone ML03B, Kingston HyperX 4GB DDR3 1866, Crucial M4 64GB SSD
HTPC 2 - AMD A6-3500, ASRock A75M-ITX, Kingston HyperX 4GB DDR3 1866, Patriot Torqx 2 32GB SSD
HTPC 3 - Intel Celeron 847, OpenELEC
RV HTPC - Intel i3-2120 Mini-ITX, 12TB Storage
3 Raspberry Pis
unRAID 5 Server - AMD Sempron 145, 4TB Parity, 16TB Storage

That is excellent speed Beer.....you beat me by 18 seconds. Since the beginning of time, my AMD E350+GT430+3 USB hard drives+AsRock instant boot is 38 seconds at the push of the button. If I remove the GT430 and all 3 USB hard drives from it, I might be able to match your bootup time. My E-350 is slower than your A6-3500 though....

I might be able to match your time with my next Intel i3-2105 build for sure......I'll meet you at 20 seconds.......

Have you tried playing a Hi10p encoded anime file with this htpc ?

I am curious if it would be able to play the following release (without hickups and/or stuttering):

[UTW]_Fate_Zero_-_01_[BD][h264-1080p_FLAC][50256238].mkv

Especially during the op / ed

A customised build of XBMC that supports 10bit can be found here (install it and run it with -p): Hi10p XBMC builds

Really? How have you managed that? My system draws nearly double the amount of power yours is using! Huh

My build:

A6-3500
ASRock A75M-ITX
4GB DDR
64GB OCZ SSD
1x Noctua NF-R8 80mm Fan

That's weird! I'll check again when I get a chance.
OP - 17 C is significantly below room temperature! What are you doing, watching movies outside in the winter?

Beer40oz,
can u measure how much space there is here?

most slim optical drives are ~5 in. deep...
just wondering if it would fit or interfere with shuriken's fan....

i suspect the space to be around ~9.84 in. (~250 mm) by the looks of it.
but, im probably wrong Tongue

thx
