Sooo Tired to wait after those FM2 ITX motherboard. I just want this ordered and built! Having too much time waiting make me doubt about the CPU and juggling http://products.amd.com/en-us/DesktopAPU...d=48&id=49
Can't make my mind.. power.. cost.. agrr! I know that if that A6-3500 was owning the A6PACK then any of those should be even much better (keeping the A4 out of the loop since I would never buy the lowest of the category) Remains the A6-5400K (66$), A8-5500 (105$) and A10-5700 (127$)
OR i could just shut the hell up and grab the traditional A6-3500 right f*/in now. Sad
Now have my HD Homerun3 (tv tuner) the TV Antenna is in the way found the 300-65 case, just waiting the HTPC now!!!! And then have to figure out how to configure all that XBMC / PVR Software

Actually found this when doing another look around the web for my FM2A75M-ITX and wrote to the member an hour after my post.. Smile It seemed weird that this hong-kong dude is having some to sell when even all the big names can't have it yet. And its a bit overpriced + 20$ shipping + custom clearance. Anyways it could be a sign that neweeg / ncix are about to get it too.

Hello team,
Just as a question now that A6-5400 is coming.....How long do you think the original A6 Pack (A6-3500) can last when the main thing that it will do is to playback SD and HD Video( 720/1080) and possibly some SBS 3D mkvs....

To my understanding, if nothing dramatically changes in the video formats etc, the original A6 Pack will do the job.

Absolutely, it'll still do the job and very well. Last generation ("Sandy Bridge") still does the job very well too.

The original a6-PACK that brings a smile to my face.

It will do the job for some years to come.... new hardware is always out some people wan't the latest and sometimes the most expensive.

Everyone's taste is different.... Glad there is a forum for this where we can all test out hardware and recommend what works. This is a really cool hobby.

You will be better off with this "Premium picoPSU-160-XT/16A 192W AC-DC" for A6-3500 plus HD7750 in Mini-ITX case......

Suppose I can sell my 90w picoPSU on ebay and splurge for the HD7750 + the 192W picoPSU - How much additional noise do you think HD7750 will bring? I love how silent the build is at the moment - I am not sure the benefits of gaming will outweigh the sexiness of the silence of this build :-)

I installed several AMD/Nvidia LP discrete cards, and it's silent at seating area. I don't own Sapphire Radeon HD7750, but I doubt that it will make very much noise.

One reviewer on Newegg said this "Cons: The full size 7750 from Sapphire did away with the cooling fan, going instead with cooling tubes and fins. The low profile card has a cooling fan. It is quiet however, even under load."

OverClock said it is quiet- Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 Low Profile Review

This "Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 1GB Low Profile Review - Conclusion" said it is Quiet Operation in his conclusion.....

I can tell you a lot more noise.... them little fans on the GPU's can be really annoying... and heat wize I will say it will go up in the case that means fans will spin faster.

You don't know until you try but don't take my word for it.

Report back with result if you try.

It would be awesome for someone to try and that way we know what works... maybe give it a shot?

Thanks.. this might have to wait a bit but I will definitely let you guys know if I try.

Question
Beer, I know how thight it is judging by your image
Image

I wonder if you could mesure the exact space for ram. It is hard to find ram that would fit there but there is a deal on 1866 DDR3
http://ncix.com/products/?sku=62704&vpn=...omoid=1295
Image Image

Of course the patriot look a tiny bit higher but I can't find mesurement of the height of ram sticks
There is also the Kingston in rebate and this one im pretty sure since it does not look like there is a heat dissipator
Image

Easiest way, i know, would be to get the exact same but it is not available 2X2GO on the site I would order, and dont want to pay 9$ shipping for a 23$ item. The only one ncix have from these speed / crucial is the 2X4GO but there is no rebate on it compared to patriot.. or Kingston.

Thanks

Xexiz that Patriot Viper Ram I can tell you that it will not fit... take a look where the ram stops at the top... it is way taller then the crucial yellow ram. I only have about 1/8" inch space left between the cooler pipes and the the top of the ram heat sink.

That Hyper X will fit... just try to get 1866 DDR3
