Buffering when using local FTP - MDTM clearart.png

Stable version of Eden running on Win7 Home Premium. Had issues with using SMB shares to connect to a local FTP server (filezilla) on my network. I'm using 200mbps homeplugs.

When watching a video streaming over the network, the video will intermittently buffer and hang, after about ten seconds I get a buffer full message, then the playback will resume. I've looked at the logs on my FTP server and every time this happens, I get these entries looking for a clearart.png file. It's looking for the modified date stamp :

I was watching a S01 ep of CSI.

Any ideas?
