Hi.

My HTPCis a Zotac ION Atom first gen.
Running on a Kingston SSD.
Streaming all media from a Windows server via SMB.
Using philips remote windows srm5100 as IR reciever and Logitech Harmony 700 as remote.
Using XBMCbuntu, Eden from xbmc.org.

I have 2 problems.


Remote problem
If i just boot my system, the remote is not working, not at all. I have found a "fix" but i do not understand why it works.

I shutdown the HTPC.
Unplug the philips remote windows srm5100 USB
boot the HTPC
shutdown the HTPC
Plug in the philips remote windows srm5100 USB
boot the HTPC
It works!

Playback problem
Sometimes when i play video files, the system locks itself.

I press play, i can see the loading beginning, and after about 5 seconds, the audio starts, but the video is frozen, i'm still at the filelist. After the audio has played for about 5 seconds, it stops.

Any idea why?

Then i have to reboot in order to get it to work, and with the remote problem, this is a PAIN in the ass.



I really hope someone can help me with this, i did not have these problems in Dharma.
I can't go back to dharma, because there are some addons vital for me in Eden, and my moviedatabase has been upgraded to Eden.
