Hello,

First I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong section..

Heres my problem.. I have a PC in my bedroom upstairs with 2 hard drives attached to it. 1 for movies and the other for TV Shows. The PC loads every movie and tv show with no problem..

I have an OpenElec machine downstairs which scans the hdd's via my home network.

I have 1017 movies on my HDD.. The OpenElec machine only finds 930 or so... Now Ive already tried updating the library but it never finds anything new so i removed the source and re-added it.. When i went to re-add it, XBMC found every computer on my network except for the one in my bedroom so I had to add the source manually. After I did that OpenElec has found 947 movies. Still well short of my total..

My question is what do I have to do in order for it to 1 - find my computer over the network and 2 - Find all of my movies..

Both Drives are shared over the network and I have atached a diagram to hopefully make it easier for everyone to understand.

Thanks for any replys. This is really bothering me..

- Joe

More than likely a naming issue with you movies.

Enable debug loggging, restart, do a library update and then upload your log.

I have seen a similiar problem in the past on my own system and this was down to permissions although the top level was set correct some of the subfolders did not have the correct permissions.
Compare a folder that does display with a folder that does not display on the openelec system.

Everything is named through Ember Media Manager. Could that be cauing the problem with the Open Elec machine?
