I have two Italian movies which i embedded subtitles into, which are in .mov files, and in quicktime they play with the subtitles. But i just imported it into XBMC, and the subtitles won't play with the movie at all. I thought they were embedded into the movie, so how does this work? Thanks

HTPC specs: Dell Precision T3400 | Intel Core 2 Quad 2.83Ghz | 8 GBs RAM | Nvidia Quadro FX1700 512MB | 2x SAS 300GBs + 1x SATA 2TB | 36in Sony Trinitron via S-video | 42in Samsung ToC via DVI

Are you using XBMC v11? Have you tried to select the subtitles using the on screen display (OSD) menus?

You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around common XBMC words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Video library]] = Video library, [[SMB]] = SMB , [[userdata]] = userdata, etc

Yes, I'm using the latest version. I did check to see if the subtitles were turned on, and they are, but the subtitles i'm using i embedded into the movie itself, so it should play automatically i would think. But they're not at all.
