Hardware wise it'll be a good little unit, I've been using a similar build for the last 8 months. My only concern would be is 1TB going to enough?
Also mounting drives under linux can be a bit tricky if you haven't used it before, but that's all explained in the Linux Help section.

why not i3-2105 APU?
it still has HD3000 GPU, and might be priced a little bit less...
and i agree that the 1TB drive is low on space... at least 2GB..

yes, the i3-2105.
u dont 'need' a cooler as the stock one will work,
but if you dont like the noise that come's from it,
after trying to reduce the Speed of its Cooling Fan,
you can buy a new cooler....
