Linux crash when playing content with VDPAU enabled

It didn't work. Still have the freezes and some videos crashed XBMC.

Nevermind, i went back to eden.Thank you uNiversal.
I'll play the movies wich freezes with VLC and i'll wait for Frodo. I've disabled vaapi and xvba and enabled only vdpau with no change.

I'll try some to change the "rendering" option, it's 'auto for now.

when a crash happens, could you do a "ps aux" in a terminal of the xbmc box?
it could be that some script vaguely related to xbmc crashes.
i had a tool called 'vbetool' crash every so often.

you could also give xorg edgers a go... i know it's a bad idea but for reference purposes Wink
