I was unable to post this thread in the off topic forum...not sure why...said i didn't have permission or something...anyway, here is my question:
I have this home movie from about 10 years ago that I digitized into an MKV...I was able to make the file perfectly however the file it's self is not the best quality...I don't get any artifacting, but I do see a lot of digital noise (in the video, not the audio)...I was wondering if anyone knew of a way (outside of XBMC) to reduce the digital noise in an MKV so when I burn the video to a dvd it looks good.
PS, if any mods could help me understand why I couldn't post this in the right forum I would appreciate it.
