music fanart

Really Odd ...

I have two xbmc pc's

One of them all of a sudden stops showing the fanart of the music artist while scrollling through my list

The other box is fine

Both point to the same directories

However when i select the artist and play its music - the fanart shows up ...?

I messed with all the settings under Skin but no luck ...

Any ideas ?

MQ3 Pre Eden Beta 2

Same here, i updated to MQ3 2.0, but now when in music playlist menu (Only Music Playlist menu), there is no fanart, album cover shows except fanart in background, only black screen with wavy white line. When i reinstall older version, fanart in music playlist works again. Do anyone know of this problem?

No u not, been a problem but can't get a fix for it. Ppl love to add comments but not the same problem as ours only occurs in music playlist/file menu

I "rolled back" my version and that still did not fix the issue ... just an fyi

Tommy2012 ? did you rollback ? or did you actually delete 2.0 and re-install an old version? and what version did you install ?

You are correct, I actually did delete completely and reinstalled Eden latest and then reinstalled mq3 1.2.4

Everything was back to normal afterwards. Problem is MQ3 2.0 latest version for sure

How do you stop it from auto-updating?

Hope you well...Found the problem...

PS: You will need to ask Marcos for an older version if you dont have one saved

Or give me your email and i will email two files for you in zip format

Also you need to disable auto updates in Add-on menu

Here is the problem and solution: The problem is with MQ3 2.0

Solution:
You need to have an older version(MQ3 1.2 4 or older).

Look under (Windows, Mac) AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\skin.aeonmq.3\720p

Delete the following two files in this directory -

1.) includes.xml
2.) MyMusicSongs.xml

(These two files is the problem that causes the fanart not to work in Music Filemode/Playlist.)

So after deleting these two files, open older version of MQ3 1.2.4 (or older) and copy these two same files in this version(MQ3 1.2.4) to the directory (Windows, Mac) AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\skin.aeonmq.3\720p - (where old ones was deleted)

This will bring back the Fanart in Music Filemode/Playlist as before

Where it is possible to download these files ?
1.) includes.xml
2.) MyMusicSongs.xml
