Seem to be having problems with all video addons

Hi

ive just upgraded to eden from darhma and seem to be having problems with my video ad dons.

I have i player, itv player, C4 OD and C5 OD.

I player works fine, the other 3 all allow me to pick a program, episode then they say they are loading stream, that completes and it goes to load the program but doesn't, just doesn't do anything, no errors, nothing.

I think these all run off pretty much the same code so something broke them - there is a couple of topics on recent problems to these services - you have to change the default.py file - the thread also suggests that some people might have to clear their cache folder (i didnt)

Sadly, these plugins now seem to be in a mess - sometimes they work, then they don't. I've had them fail using an unblockus type of connection, then work with a full VPN, then work again with the unblockus method. It's not consistent. Very difficult to figure out and hardly reliable for everyday use - sort of video lottery!

The 'fixes' seem to work on my windows7 laptop but not on my main linux machine.

Strange.

Least iplayer works so the wifey can watch eastenders.
