Basically the issue is the flickering of bright back lighting. Foreground images are fine but any light areas become some sort of flickering strobe light. I tried both my video settings. 1 with MS drivers and the other with Nivida drivers. Still flickering.
Using Win 7 Pro SP1 and have no problems with XBMC 10.1 and Navi-x
I've posted at the Navi-x forum and their thought is that it maybe is a XBMC video decoder issue with 11
Navi-x flickering with XBMC 11 Final

Unless his cord is damaged, I cannot explain it. I tried troubleshooting this with him already and it appears to be an issue either with the hardware or video drivers in XBMC. Any pointers Team XBMC?? Thanks.

Stranger things happen when one doesn't do a clean install
In the past I've always done clean installs. But yep, in this case, I went back and installed over top of 10.1 using 11.0 (Eden). Surprise, surprise, the flickering is gone. Go figure that in this case over top install is better than a clean install.

Same flickering of bright areas with me, any format that is NOT a dvd vob type file. The formats in question all play fine with VLC, WMC, WMP. Any solutions?

Not sure you caught what I did but install 10.1 and then install 11.0 over top of it. Surprisingly that's how I got rid of the flickering. Cheers........ |
