since last 2-3 weeks XBMC crashes especially if its minimised to the taskbar ( i.e in the background state). Within 2-5 minutes the Load Library DBGHELP.DLL error surfaces and xbmc crashes. I have uninstalled & fresh Installs with complete rescraping & build up of my media libraries + disabling & loading without any addons but this keeps on happening. As well as this xbmc is crashing randomly & very frequently .
WIN 7x64 + Eden 11+ Confluence / Aeon nox ( happening in any skin)

It's funny I was getting that too from time to time. Stopped after I got rid of the official trakt plugin though..

I've no idea mate. When it did this for me there was no indication on to what had caused the dll error exactly, and the crash dump was an empty file all the times it happened.
Not sure why there's a crash dump if no data is put into it, But hey we seem to be the minority so no one cares (or so I am told). |

I totally feel you .. death-axe.. well I feel your sentiments & not ..on a serious note I have now minimised my xbmc window to a tiny speck rather then minimise to task bar for now .. untill someone chips in and helps ..

The devs do care about any true reproducible bug. If we can not reproduce it, it is hard for them to fix it.
@shaktoo, you need to turn on debugging then reproduce the issue and post that log. |

I just had this happen to me too over the weekend at least two times. I just turned on debugging and can post that when I get a dump file. Here is my log if it helps.

The log will probably only be of use when debugging is turned on.

@kricker , thanks for the reply .. the pastebin log is the debug log. debug started along line 438 .. & the error happens right at the end prior to that there are no errors ( only error is of no music db available as I had not rescanned my music library at that stage)
if you want me to paste the debug log here will do so |

My log comment was meant for the_stag. His log level is showing as 0, which is not debugging.
As for your log shaktoo, no need to post it here, pastebin is preferred. Just fixing your link so it can just be clicked on would be great.
