TV Show Library not updating

xbmc eden and aeon nox 2.0

When I first set up my sources all my tv shows were added fine and art downloaded fine, but the shows aren't updating. Episodes I watched from other computers and deleted are still showing up in the xbmc tv shows (they don't play of course) and new shows I've added don't show up.

My folder structure is:
Server/Pandstv/Fringe/Episode1.avi

This seems like it should be so simple, what am I screwing up? The sources are set to autoscan. I've tried doing a manual "scan for new content". I keep googling, but the result that keeps coming up the most is something about an autoupdate not being compatible with eden.

Thanks in advance.

The Debug Log is always the first step. Enable debug logging, pick a show that isn't up to date, TV Show Info -> Refresh.

Check the Debug Log.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

That naming doesn't sound right either - usually the season number as well as the episode number is required.

But the debug log will tell all

Flirc now has a forum: forum.flirc.tv

I checked the wiki, it didn't look like seasons were required, but I'll try adding it just to verify.

Here is the section of my log file that mentions the show I tested, Make it or Break it (My wife's show I swear). I verified that the server is up and running. I noticed a lot of errors in the section before the debug was even turned on. Maybe I just need to do an uninstall and reinstall.

That shouldn't cause problems with my local media not showing up or refreshing though, should it?

That site is where the meta-data (summaries, cover art, thumbnails, etc) are taken from, so if it can't connect to the site then it won't add an entry in the local library for the local media.

I see, thanks for all the help guys.

I'm getting there, slowly but surely. My biggest problem with figuring out my own solutions is not knowing the terminology. It's hard to find what you're looking for if you're searching the wrong key words.

I've been toying around with the idea for a glossary of terms to be put on the XBMC Wiki. I bet it would help a lot of people.
