My daughter wanted to play games, so I dropped to XBMCBuntu and installed some.
My sound no longer plays and video now restarts XBMC.
I tried a dist-upgrade and that did not fix silent audio or crashing video
I tried Xorg -configure and that did not fix silent audio or crashing video

Use mythicalLibrarian to make a library out of your MythTV files. Leave the recording to MythTV and use XBMC as your library.
