XMBC Movie Folder Names Corrupt
#1
I've not attached a log since it's not something which would be logged, but since updating to Eden, the folder names in some of my XMBC directories have become corrupt - so, for instance, one which on my iMac the folder is called '(The Flintstones (1994)', but on XBMC on a black AppleTV2, it displays as TI4Y2P~N'. This doesn't happen for every folder, and seems to be pretty random. I tried removing and re-sharing the drive but no luck.

Always include a debug log. It can tell us things about your setup that might be related to the issue, even if it's not directly logging the event.

Hi

Good point. OK, I've uploaded a log to pastebin:

Well first thing the log tells me is that you haven't updated to XBMC v11 final. I would do that first and see if it fixes the issue. If not, post a new debug log when using v11 just to be sure the log is only showing us issues that haven't been fixed yet. It will help the devs drill down the issue.

Oddly enough I thought I had updated but it seems not to have taken. Done so now, but no change and a couple of other folders have randomly changed to nonsense names.

Latest log file is at http://pastebin.com/vm88Pdgt

Thanks in advance
