I have installed XBMC through NitoTV and am unable to turn off subtitles on MKV's....
When I bring up the menu while playing the movie and click on subtitles, it brings up a window that says NONE and when I click on it the window closed, but I still have subtitles..
Ive looked in the System settings, and they say they are off, but still show...
If its a known bug, then I'll stop looking and pulling my hair out, or am I best off updating to a nightly build?
any help is much appreciated!
AppleTV 2 (black) Is there an issue turning off subtitles?

I just noticed mine came on as well actually (there was an updated for the subtitle plug-in tonight) but I went into my OSD -> Audio settings and unticked "Enable subtitles". This was using the ReFocus skin but they turned off straight away.

Ok, I have managed to turn off subtitles while playing a subtitled enabled MKV.
I had to use the 'Official XBMC Remote' iphone application. The subtitle button from the remote. Using the apple tv remote does not work. |

Sure it works with apple tv remote too. When playing a movie hold the center button, in the overlay go to the film roll icon and deactivate subtitles.
