Ok, I have just jail broken and downloaded xbmc Eden on apple tv2 ios5.

I can find a path to my pc (windows7) and find zip files for add ons but cannot download them to apple tv, I can open them but can't seem to instal them....?

You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc
