Hi All,
System: OS X Lion
XBMC: 11.0

When I need to enter anything in the XBMC app (Weather location, new description for a movie) unfortunately the mac keyboard does not enter in all of the Russian characters (when switched to Russian keyboard layout). The virtual keyboard does not have the option to switch from English layout, to Russian. (((

Can some one please advise how to get either working properly, preferably both of course.

I have exactly the same question. As far as I understand, it is difficult to add Russian virtual keyboard, but what is about standard (hardware) keyboard? Why doesn't it work on Mac?
