Media Companion 3 beta's - Now with Music Video support
I've just used MKVToolnix to remove a bunch of audio tracks from a movie that I didn't realize were there.
The movie is already in my library... is there a way to rescan this file to simply update this in the nfo without changing any of the other info or artwork?

I think navigating in the panel to the movie, right click to open context menu, then "rescrape specific" and "media tags" does what you want.

I believe that did it. Thank you.

So after looking at an nfo file to confirm my previous question...
What is the purpose of all these image urls that are in all of my nfo's?
I tried a few of them and none of them were even valid... all the image files are stored locally so why would any urls even be needed...
Not shown in the sample below but every actor has a url with it as well.
Just a small sample from one of the nfo's

Were those movies previously scraped using another scraper, either a stand-alone program or built-in Kodi scraper? Even some Kodi add-ons can rewrite .nfo files. Have you used the "Export Library" feature in Kodi? If the answer is no to those questions check to see if in the MC preferences the following is checked "Movie Preferences>General>Disable extra Frodo Poster and Thumb URL's". Those are some reasons fanart URL's could get added to a .nfo file.

So the answer to the first question is possibly... I have used others in the past but it's been just MC for years now. But I did think of that and I did look at recently scraped movies and they all have it.
I've never used the export library feature.
So I did check my preferences and that option is not checked. I'll check that... I hit a movie and selected 'rescrape all'... the new nfo was clear of all the poster and thumb URL's but the actor ones remained.
Tried another movie and instead of all I just rescraped 'poster URL's'... That cleared them as well... except actors.
So I can always do this for the whole library.

I didn't any similar settings for actors... is this normal or am I missing something else?

Actor URL links are for Kodi, in case Kodi can not find local actor image (Kodi checked .actor folder first) Kodi will then use the URL.

Same for the Poster, Fanart URL you found.
I tried the first three urls for poster, and for Fanart, the URL's for Stand By Me are still valid, but as you mentioned, you have the artwork local, so you can ignore these or as you've done, rescrape to clean up the nfo.
