I am using an old HP dv9 (CoreDuo\Nvidia) series laptop. I have Ubuntu 12.04 install on it and running XBMC Eden. I have the laptop plugged into my TV using the HDMI port. When I log into the xbmc user-session I either get no sound or choppy sound. I have added the user xbmc to the audio, video and the rest of the group like the tutorials said. I've spend the whole day on google trying to get the audio to play normally with no luck. Has any one ran into this issue and fixed it?
