Great feedback everyone. I will take all your suggestions into considerations. Until then, we did manage to get a great deal on several thousand MCE IR remotes. We will be extending this great deal to the forums. I'll have more details soon.

While I would like a remote with keyboard etc and power user function. My primary wife approved remote is an XBOX DVD remote.
I would summarize my wife approved remote as: 1. small form factor, her hands are smaller by far and using a large remote causes her frustration 2. Solid menu navigation and informational keys. 3. Standard play, pause, stop, FF,RW. I wouldn't mind these just being skip forward, skip backward. |

I want a a remote that can control my tv with ir and control the xbmc with rf that not a fortune. That's all.
