Linux Where is the LXDE Desktop?

I'm sorry if this is really obvious, but I've searched and searched, checked the wiki and the FAQ and can't find a simple, idiots (me) guide to minimising (if that's even the right term) XBMC in XBMCbuntu and getting to the the new LXDE desktop that's apparently under there somewhere. Can a kidly soul please point me in the right direction? Thanks.

You need to exit/logout. You can do that in the shutdown/reboot menu.
After that there will be a new login option. Here you choose xbmcbuntu and user + password. To get back to xbmc, you logout and login to xbmc.
